Can Dogs Really Sneeze?
Is there a connection between dog sneeze and asthma or can dogs just get that way sometimes? What causes a dog to sneeze? How do dogs stop their sneezes? Why does my dog sneeze when I'm not around? Do dogs even really get sneezed?
Dogs are basically carnivores and have been adapted to eat meat. All mammals, including humans, are carnivores so if you were to make a list of the foods that a dog must eat, it would be very close to what humans eat. In order to digest the food you put into their bowl, they must get plenty of air. So why do dogs sneeze when you're not around?
Dogs are very close to their family members and they all get along. It's the owner's responsibility to ensure that these relationships are maintained, so any stress that can be caused by the pet is eliminated. When a dog is stressed, it often gets nervous and the body reacts with an overabundance of mucus which can lead to an allergic reaction. If the dog sneezes, the mucus in the nasal area can build up to a point that's painful for the dog. At this point, you should consult with your veterinarian to determine if there are any other issues causing the condition that may require medication and other treatment.
